Mobile Banking

    1. Download the Glenwood State Bank app (Apple or Android)
    2. Open the app and tap First time user? Enroll Now
    3. Enter your information
    4. Complete two-factor authentication
    5. Accept the terms
    6. Set a PIN or enable biometrics
    7. Start using Mobile Banking

Mobile Check Deposit

    1. Log in to our Mobile Banking app
    2. Tap Deposit Check
    3. Select account(s) and submit enrollment
    4. Wait for approval (typically within 24 hours)
    1. Log in to Mobile Banking
    2. Tap Deposit Check
    3. Enter the amount
    4. Choose your account
    5. Endorse the back and write: "FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY”
    6. Take a photo of the front and back of the check
    7. Click Submit
  • Mobile deposits will be made available within 1 business day.

eStatements & eNotices

    1. Log in to Online or Mobile Banking
    2. Select an account
    3. Click eStatements
    4. Choose Sign Up/Changes
    5. Select the accounts and documents you wish to enroll
    6. Click Save Settings
    1. Log in to Online or Mobile Banking
    2. Select an account
    3. Click eStatements
    4. Use the dropdown to choose an account
    5. Click Download

Debit Cards & Card Controls

  • A debit card can be declined for several reasons. Review the possibilities below to help identify the issue.

     

    Insufficient Funds

    Your account balance may be too low to cover the purchase.
     
    What to do:
    • Check your account balance in Online Banking or Mobile Banking
    • Transfer funds into the account if needed
    • Contact us if you need assistance


    Daily Transaction Limit Reached

    For your protection, debit cards have daily purchase and withdrawal limits.
     
    What to do:
    • Contact us to verify your current limits
    • Let us know if you have a large purchase planned


    Incorrect PIN

    An incorrect PIN will cause transactions to be declined.

    What to do:
    • Call (800) 290-7893
    • Follow the prompts to reset your PIN
    • Your new PIN can be used immediately


    Suspected Fraud

    Unusual activity may trigger a fraud alert and temporarily restrict card usage.
     
    What to do:
    • Check your text messages, email, or voicemail for fraud alerts
    • Respond to any verification requests
    • Contact us if you're unsure whether a transaction was flagged


    Your Card Has Been Turned Off

    If you're enrolled in Online Banking or Mobile Banking, Card Controls allow you to turn your card off and on instantly.

    What to do:
    1. Log in to Online Banking or Mobile Banking
    2. Choose your checking account
    3. Select Card Management
    4. Verify your card is turned ON


    ATM-Only Debit Card

    If your card is connected only to a savings account, it may be restricted to ATM withdrawals and not available for point-of-sale purchases.

    What to do:
    • Contact us to discuss linking your checking account to your debit card
    1. Log in to Online/Mobile Banking
    2. Select your checking account
    3. Choose Manage Cards
    4. Select your card
    5. Toggle ON or OFF
    ⚠️ Note: Turning your card off will decline automatic payments.
  • ON THE APP:
    1. Log in to Online/Mobile Banking
    2. Select your checking account
    3. Choose Card Management
    4. Select Report Card Lost/Stolen
    5. Your card will be permanently deactivated
    6. To order a new card, go to Reorder Card under Card Management or contact us

     

    BY PHONE:
    During business hours, call (320) 634-5111.
    After hours, call the Debit Card Hot Card Center: (888) 297-3416.

  • Turn Off Card
    • Temporary
    • Can be turned back on
    • Good if you misplaced your card
     
    Report Lost/Stolen
    • Permanent
    • Cannot be reversed
    • Replacement card is automatically ordered
    • New card will have a different card number
    ⚠️ Only choose Report Lost/Stolen if you're confident the card will not be recovered.
  • ON THE APP:
    1. Log in to Online/Mobile Banking
    2. Select your checking account
    3. Choose Card Management
    4. Select Reorder Card
      1. Your new card will have the same number
      2. $15 fee applies
      3. Set your PIN by calling 888-891-2435

     

    BY PHONE:

    IN PERSON:
    At our Glenwood and Alexandria branches, we can print a replacement debit card for you onsite!  $15 fee applies.

  • ON THE APP:
    1. Log in to Online/Mobile Banking
    2. Select your checking account
    3. Choose Card Management
    4. Select Activate New Card

     

    BY PHONE:
    Call (800) 290-7893 to activate your new card.


    The Activation System requires an EXACT MATCH so, if you're having troubles activating your card, verify you are entering everything correctly.

  • Call (888) 891-2435 to change your PIN.
  • Yes, and it's highly encouraged so you don't run into issues while you're travelling.

    ON THE APP:

    1. Log in to Online/Mobile Banking
    2. Go to Settings
    3. Choose Travel Notices
    4. Add the destinations, travel dates, and cards that it applies to
    5. Click Save

Bill Pay

    1. Log into Online Banking with your computer (enrollment not available on mobile app)
    2. Select Bill Pay
    3. Follow enrollment prompts
    1. Login to Online or Mobile Banking
    2. Select Pay a Bill or Pay a Person
    3. Follow the prompts to submit your payment
     
    If you prefer to use the FULL Bill Pay site, which has more advanced features, choose Manage Payments and you will be redirected.
    1. Login to Mobile Banking
    2. Tap Payments
    3. Follow the prompts to submit your payment
  • There is no charge for active Bill Pay users. However, if no Bill Pay transactions are made within a 30-day period, a $5 monthly fee will be charged.

Budgeting Tools / MoneyManager

    1. Login to Online or Mobile Banking
    2. Select:
      • Insight (Online Banking), or
      • Money Manager (Mobile App)
    3. Start creating budgets and goals

Bookkeeping Software

    1. Login to Online or Mobile Banking
    2. Navigate to the account you wish to download transactions for
    3. Near the "Transactions" heading, click the download button (next to print)
    4. Specify the date range
    5. Choose your file type
      1. QBO for Quickbooks Online
      2. OFX for most platforms
    6. Click Download and save to your computer
    7. Upload this file to your bookkeeping software
